We have been attending a company offsite over the past few days, but it seems there have been no dramatic moves in practically any of the precious metals in our absence. Gold for example, has been stuck in a $10/ounce trading range over the past four days, while silver has been hovering within a $.15 band on either side of the $17/ounce mark close for much of the past week. Both platinum and palladium have also closed relatively flat over the past few days. In other markets, base metals remain firm, as have the Chinese ferrous markets, but both complexes are mired in relatively low volatility conditions.
