Gold finally had an impressive move higher on Wednesday, this time swept up by the dual tailwinds of a falling dollar and the prospect of rising US inflation. Prices tacked on a whopping $27/ounce to end the day at $1357/ounce, while silver added $.32 to finish at $16.85. There were solid $15/ounce and $27/ounce gains in both platinum and palladium, respectively.
